Join us on August 25th and help us do all we can to help make this park better than ever.
Everyone who takes part will be rewarded with a ticket to the see the Tragically Hip at an Exclusive Molson Canadian Red Leaf Project concert in Toronto.
Space for the Park Project is limited. When it’s full, your only way in will be by joining the waitlist. So, if you want to do some good and get some awesome be sure to join now.

Meeting Time: 10:00 am
Bus Leaving time: 10:20 am
Park Project: 10:30-12:00 pm
Bus Departs: 12:00 pm
Arrive at Bar for post clean-up celebrations: 12:15 pm
Please note that you must be legal drinking age to attend.
Most of the spots all seem to be waiting list, but I got in to the Aug. 18 clean up of Humber Bay. Thanks for the head's up!

So, the weekend of my 30th birthday just got that much more incredible. Just waiting to head out for the Newmarket project.

If there was no room you are on the wait list and they notify you if someone cancels and then you are in otherwise you can not attend is my thinking...so no ticket unless your name is on list and you attend clean up
honestly, just show up. out of 59 people, only about 25 - 30 showed up at the aug. 18 event. lots of free beer and food afterwards. you might get lucky

Definitely add your name to wait lists - I've already been e-mailed about two other clean ups I put my name on the waitlist for.
And, like coldlake said - try just showing up - they probably have a ton of no-shows at each clean up. Its not hard work - we pulled weeds for 45mins, then it was back to the bar for free beer and a free Hip ticket!

Why am I just learning about this now?!?!? What a great idea; do a good deed and in return the Hip do a good deed for all of its awesome fans. Great idea...love it.
I'm interested, can you fill me in. Where is this clean up by the way and what does it entail. Any idea as to how many folks will be fortunate enough to catch this show.

If you're in Toronto/Scarborough this a.m., get out to Woodbine Park and you'll get a pair of tickets (usually you only get one). I think you have to be there before 9am though (they're on Breakfast Television) so the chances of anyone seeing/doing this are probably slim! Still - thought I'd mention it.
