The tickets TM were giving out were awful. Just got married Sat and was going to buy tickets for my wife as a wedding gift...and now for plan b
I had row k on my first try...thought I could do better and moved up to row h....thought I could still do better so row k came up another dozen times and now nothing is available in the upper price range. I think I'll wait until the general sale
Just after my post of nothing got a ORC row C...45 minutes into the presale.
So much for the presale advantage. I got row Z on the ORC level. What a joke.

The best I pulled after about 25 tries was row H. Since Im already going to Rochester, I decided to pass and will hit Detroit or Clifton Park GA shows if they are mixing the sets up
It makes no sense to me how TM works. How can I go on at 10:00 exactly and get way back in the ORC and then at almost 10:15 front row PIT? I'm not complaining because I ended up with the tickets I wanted but now I have to sell off the ORC ones.
I got on at 10 and pulled orchestra row z...threw them back and pulled orchestra lc row e. you gotta know how tm works and have luck at the same time. I can almost guarantee you you will get better seats in the first ten mins on fri or wait til a few days before the show to get close seats.
Well after failing numerous times to get good tickets, I turned on the interactive chart of available seats. It shows you what tickets are available and refreshes every 30 seconds or so. Luckily for me, at 11:30 tickets showed up front row centre in the pit!!! Glad I waited!

Man am I glad ticketmaster blocked me out right around 11:30!

I saw those too! I tried to grab 2 in the Pit, but I was too slow.
Right at 10 got nothing really interesting, but just now (2 pm) front row of the balcony which is good. Looking forward to it...been a few years since a Hip show.
I see that there is a ticketmaster presale tomorrow and a live nation one on Thursday. Anyone know if they are password protected and what any of those passwords are? I've had this vision in my mind of surprising my hot new wife the best seats in the house for the 'Cuse show and row C doesn't quite cut it.

use the Hip site code. Rochester and Syracuse are already just about sold ouit. Good seats are already gone.

But good seats are also still available. Each presale gets a different seat allotment. And then more are kept for public onsale.

The Hip site's code was going to be my fallback code if I couldn't find any more information somewhere, however I don't think every good seat is sold. I think each day only some seats (including awesome ones) are given out during each presale. Even on Friday when the sale goes on for the general public I may go down to the landmark box office and buy tickets and I doubt that they will only have the leftover nosebleeds seats left for sale. I could be way off on how it works but I don't think all the goods are gone.
