I missed watching the 2012 Juno awards and am finally getting around to checking out the performances.
I was AMAZED by Feist.
I thought I couldn't love her more than I already do...

You beat me to it! I was just flipping channels at like 2 in the morning and saw her so thought I'd give it a watch/listen. My jaw was on the floor, she was fucking bad ass. Wasn't really all that impressed with what I'd heard from metals thus far, but now its at the top of my 'to buy' list.
Aside from excellent performances from Feist, Hey Rosetta, and Blue Rodeo's much deserved Hall of Fame induction, the rest of the show was an absolute disgrace. Most award shows are a joke anyways, but the Junos sure know how to turn up the suck.

Disagree, I love that they gave out 99% of the awards ahead of time and this was essentially a concert with a bunch of nominees. The crowd was packed with music fans as opposed to stuffed with industry types. If you don't like the other bands whatever, the show was good though. Dallas Green did a good job and I thought Dragonette was fucking awesome as well. Didn't catch the whole show, an ya with any awards show there's bound to be music you don't like but I think the Juno's consistently put on a good show.
I also really enjoyed the genuineness of City & Colours performance.
I love that it was just him on the stage, without flare or gimmicks.

I'll admit that I'm not a fan of most of the bands that were there, so that definitely plays into my opinion. And I thought some of the nominees/awards were just ridiculous (Buble's Christmas record winning album of the year? Really??). But I'll definitely agree with you regarding Dallas Green. I forgot to mention him in my other post. His performance was awesome, and I was pleased to see him win the songwriting award.
