...just moved into a tie with Heartless Bastards for my favorite album of 2012 so far. I need a few more spins before I make the final verdict, but this might be the best thing Joel has ever done. "Lightning Bolt" is f'n' killer, and that's just the first track! The entire album is amazing.
Glad to hear that you like it. My two year-old son absolutely loves Harbour Boys, and I was thinking of picking up the album. Think I will now.

Finally got to give it a spin yesterday. I'm Yours is a goddamn beauty of a track. I got to see most of the songs live already from a fan appreciation show a month or so back, but unfortunately not that song.
I am not sure if he has had the monkey (on the cover) around for a while / ever, but he had it with him that night and continually danced / sang to / ranted about / played to on his knees through-out the entire set.

I noticed the vinyl was missing from the merch table at his Calgary show the other night. They had every other album on vinyl except the new one. Looks like it's definitely been delayed for some reason.
Joel mentioned from the stage in edmonton last week that the test presses had a skip so they sent it back..

also get his 3 cd called "three". about 95% of it is a+, imo
he toured that cd for about 3 years
it's been a sweet ride
I have ashtray Rock and went to see the 2nd night at the Opera House on that Tour,...was a Deadly Show, and I told him so when I saw him opening in Rochester for the Hip - I asked him to say hi to my kids on video and he did :thumb:
I mean who does that ! I bought Three and probably need to revisit it.... anyways I have the new one on my iphone now and would like to take my son to see Joel, I think he'd really dig him.
