Any Jane's Addiction fans will be excited to know they are headlining a dandy outdoor event in Calgary on August 20. On the bill are Jane's, Weezer, Social Distortion, Public Enemy and more to be announced.
Last year I knocked Van Morrison off the top of my list of artists I wanted to see before I die and this year I can stroke off Jane's Addiction too.

Ha...just perusing my old posts and spotted this. Don't think I ever saw this reply. I'd likely have said the same or worse.

I am a huge Jane's Addiction fan. I think they just toured a little bit, playing Nothing's Shocking.
Have never seen them, but Strays is one of my desert island albums. Also, got the Live In NYC vinyl a year or two ago... Amazing performances on there!

We've had the privilege of seeing the band at Massey Hall, Porno for Pyros at Edenfest, and Perry with Satellite Party at the Opera House. I missed the recent Nothing's Shocking gigs but would travel far to see this band, he is one of the ultimate performers of all time, music ain't too shabby either.
