curious as to how big the show is....

That's what the documentary maker told me they were expecting.

8) All Smiles Now ... cant wait! 8)
This is like the Kawarthas' Glastonbury ... hopefully it sticks around. 8)
A friend of mine was talking to the organizer this morning.
He said that this will likely be a yearly thing, but with different bands each year.
They are also anticipating about 3,000 boats being on the lake that day!
Guy beside me at Peterborough tonight is working EMS in Bobcaygeon and was saying that some BIG names are reported to be in the VIP. 8)

Thats gonna be me and my family and some friends at the show.
Were camping at the camp site 1km away.
Livi keep the pics coming!! Cool to see what's happening. I love seeing the work that goes into putting something like this on.
I can't say it enough... I'm pumped for this show... staying at a cottage on Sturgeon Lake, with my best buds, best band in the world! Awesome!!!

You know what, sometimes a little rain can be a good thing at a festival show. Calms everybody down, I've been pulled into way to many "conflicts" not of my own volition at outdoor Hip shows by drunken fools in the past. Maybe that's just me?

I'm never sure with outdoor shows, when it says "no blankets" do you think it's cool to bring towels and shit to lay on early in the day, or in case it rains. Also with no outside food/drink, would you not bring any water?
All set and ready to go!

Wow. I expected a bigger stage. 25,000 people in front of that?
With respect to the OK/not OK list above, I think they also said to bring a flashlight to get back to your car/campground safely afterwards. This is going to have a Molson Park/Markham Fairgrounds kind of feel.
I thought it looked small too... but they don't have the amp stacks up on either side yet, so maybe it just looks small without them?
