yeah, I would forgo seeing a show there if I had to sit in the top balcony again. The seats are worse than sitting on concrete, and you literally have about a foot of room between your seat and the seats in front of you. They should rip all of those seats out of there, and completely redo the section.

ahhhh another person in "the know" !!!
unless you are sitting straight on with no overhang over you. only then do you have a good seat
the good seats are limited to maybe 2/3(max) of the entire venue

My favourite venue of all time, but I hate when people say there's no bad seats. In addition to the shitty ass upper level, there's quite a bit of seats directly behind posts. They're leaving in the top seats because they're "historical", at least that's what one of the ushers told me.

That's too bad. I also love the venue but the one and only time I sat up there it ruined the show for me. I could barely walk out of the place after the show because my knees were so sore, and my back was killing me. The show should have been great, but halfway through all I could think about was getting up and leaving early.

The posts aren't 10 feet wide man. You swivel your position 2 inches to the left or right and you don't even see the posts.

Disagree, I saw Alice Cooper there in my burnout days and had to rotate seats over the night with my friends. It was a double whammy, we were in the upper level, on the side, with a post obstructed view. Fun show though! Just saying, given the choice, I'd rather not be in the upper level or behind a post at Massey. There's definitely bad seats in the place despite what people say, but the good seats far outweigh the bad.
On another note, does anyone know what the word is on Collider Vinyl?
