I've been grooving to this tune alot of late.. and have ran through all my versions,,, anyone have a favourite live version off the top of thier head ? )
I really like the version from the High Sierra Music Festival, in Bear Valley from 1995. That whole show was amazing, especially the version of Inevitability of Death from it.
The version from ARA '95 with John Popper on harmonica kicked all kinds of ass.
I haven't heard it since I was there, but I remember the version they performed at the Limestone City Blues Festival in Kingston with Charlie Musselwhite on harp was pretty amazing. I think that was 99??
Yep, it was '99 because I was in Australia and was pissed that I missed not only The Hip playing the Blues fest, but them playing Fight.

Maybe I should dig up my copy and post it:

This was a last minute unannounced show - and the only reason anyone really knew about it, is because a Langlois posted in the old alt.music.tragically-hip that The Hip were playing.

Yes I remember that night perfectly. We went down to Kingston for dinner and while driving it came on the radio that Paul and Gord S were going to play, so we decided to grab wristbands and go to the show as well.
Anyways, we were around backstage (which was just the street), my brother is "kind of" friends with Dan Akroyd, so we spotted him and stopped to talk for a minute. While talking to him, up rolled Paul and Gord S......then a couple minutes later up rolled Rob.....I kinda looked at the people I was with and said I thought this might turn into something a little better and maybe we should get around front to get a good spot. We definitely made the right call!
veryy cool .. please do mr tthip
