As usual with a new Gord Downie-related release, it's fun to go back and listen to rants / improv lyrics from the previous couple of years and pick up on scraps of songs in the making. Has anyone heard any 'ground bounce' lyrics in the 2009 shows? Off the top of my head, the only thing I can think of is Gord yelling "SUMMER ON" at the end of the abbotsford gig on youtube.

In one or both of the Montreal 09 shows he yells out "are you guys HARD canadaians?"

Not in the 2009 shows, but in 2002 shows, during 100th meridian, gord would almost always sing night is forgetting, and i heard on the version of New O from the WATS Live compilation, he yells "summer on" several times. I love finding stuff like that when i listen to live hip music.
