Haven't seen it yet, but I'm going tomorrow. I've heard it's amazing.

Yes it is; it will definitely make you think.

Some friends and I went to see it at the IMAX this afternoon. Incredible film. Christopher Nolan continues to build a ridiculously impressive resume with intelligent, exciting, and thought provoking films. He did it with Memento, Insomnia, the Prestige, and the Dark Knight. And now he's done it once again. With Inception he takes your basic heist story and turns it on its head while completely re-inventing it in the process. I was blown away by this flick. Thumbs up!

It made me think: who transplanted a corny 60s James Bond sequence in the snow, where the baddies couldn't hit a barn door with an automatic weapon, into the middle of this film?
It was Ok. Nowhere near on a par with the likes of Memento or The Prestige, mainly because there was so much plot that there was no time for any character development. Good plot, mind, but ultimately a let down and the sign of an average film is that it's almost instantly forgettable after you've left the cinema. Go see Toy Story 3 instead  .
