I was wondering, I know that The Hip allow us to take video and record audio at their concerts and post our stuff on youtube.
Here is my question.
I made a video using some of my video and pictures I have taken over a few years, then I did not know what song to play in the backround. So I chose "The Rules" its off the CD so am I allowed to post it on my youtube channel?
I dont want to do it if I can get in trouble. Its the best video I have done so far and would like to share it.

Nope. It will be removed - in most cases YouTube disable the audio and leave your video.

Damn. It took me 3 hours to do. I guess it will just have to be for me and my family.

I cant take any chances on there anymore as I posted 2 videos I took at the Bob Dylan concert in Kitchener and Sony music sent my copywrite infringement notices, then youtube sent me a notice saying 3 strikes and my channel will be pulled.

just sing the song yourself and use that instead.
