Any Threadless fans around? They are having a thing where people are invited to submit a mix of 8+ songs, and then the warehouse workers vote for their favorite mix and the winner gets a $50 gift certificate. I work at Threadless now, and --like all new employees -- I started in the warehouse, and they need to listen to something that isn't the Ramones. (Not that I dislike the Ramones, and they are good Working In A Warehouse music, but twice a day, really?) Anyway, I think some hipbasers should put together some awesome canrock mixes for them! I'd do it myself if I were eligible.

Here's the link if anyone's interested: <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.threadless.com/news/597423/Make_a_June_mix_for_the_Threadless_warehouse">http://www.threadless.com/news/597423/M ... _warehouse</a><!-- m -->

Sounds fun.

That company is great and love their products. Also they are so well structured and have studied them in marketing classes. It must be a great company to work for, even if it is only warehouse.

Oh, I'm not in the warehouse anymore. Everyone starts there and stays for a few days, just to get a feel for what the company really does, I guess, and then we go to our real jobs. I think it's a really good idea, although I have to say, I SUCK at working in a warehouse. "Fake it till you make it" works for a lot of things, and upper-body strength might be one of them, but it is slow going and painful in the meantime. My actual job started this week.
