I heard an ad for it this morning while I was getting ready for class. It sounds interesting to say the least...but I don't know if its worth dropping $8.75. Movie prices are getting out of hand.

he is dead, mind you it would be great if Biggie and Tupac pulled of the biggest prank in the world and faked both their deaths but unfortunately that's not going to happen... rumours have it that it was actually Suge Knight that killed both... supposedly he killed Tupac because he was leaving Death Row, and then he killed Biggie so that it looked like a gangsta war rather than put the pressure on himself...
the movie is about him, but from what I've seen so far they seem to make it look as if he's the one actually telling you the story..
Tupac was #8 on Forbes list of dead celebrities making $.. (Tupac $12 million)
Elvis was number 1 at $40 million
either way this movie should be good..

$8.75 is a bargin, here in Vancouver it is $14 I think and $11 for a matinee.

We have a rainbow theatre here. They show older movies that are not yet on video. They are $4 and 2.50 for mat.

You know though, I would go and see way more movies if they were cheaper; and can we do something about the price of popcorn, cola, and M&M's!!!

Here in Halifax, the Empire Threatre (which is probably the costs Lance quoted) is the best place to go, but the Famous Players where I live has $6.95 + tax ($7.91 or something altogether) for all movies, all the time.
Not only is it more convenient, for me anyway, but you save up to $3 on a weekend show over going to Empire. And it's got 8 screens too, so it's not too small to have a good selection.

Yes well don't even get me started about prices over here in the Netherlands. For a movie around here we pay like 10-12 $ (cdn) too which I guess is similar to the prices some of you quoted. However CD's in general cost about 20 € which converted equals about 30 $(cdn) and prices only go up from there. :roll: :roll:
And record companies get mad at people for downloading and burning their own music..... :?
