I am sure I will offend at least half the people on here, but I just finished watching "Capitalism: A Love Story" and it reconfirmed to me that Michael Moore is the smartest American I know.

Bowling for Columbine was very well done. He had a valid point that was well-made without cheap shots or ratcheting up the rhetoric. Then I saw Fahrenheit 9/11. Not morally or anything like that. But intellectually. He had no point to make, it was just a giant gripe-fest. I get it, Mike. You don't like Bush. Me neither. Now let's actually talk about issues. Instead, it was two hours of little pot shots. Like Bush and Bin Laden both being described as withdrawn and quiet. Really, Mike? Really? Yawn.
Maybe Capitalism will be good. But I doubt it.
I think his films are very entertaining. I take them for what they are meant to be.
I don't think his films are the most intelligent, insightful, ground breaking films, but I don't think they are supposed to be.
He makes a point, it's entertaining, and you either agree or disagree with the point he is making.
