I actually really like tickets behind the stage, specially for this set up where the PJ stage is bare bones and there are no obstructions. Sound is usually just as good and you see what the band sees, its a great perspective. Also, in London they played a song just for the seats behind the stage, making it almost a private setting, and you can get much closer to the band than that.
I've got tickets in 219 and 220 and I'll be getting rid of at least one set of them if anyone still needs some.
My review of the Wrigley Field show, for anyone interested. I think perhaps The Hip had something like this, at some point in their career.

What an excellent review! Thanks.
They released a few extra G/A 10C tickets for Calgary, I'm really hoping I get a couple, the ones I got from Ticketmaster are just awful...

Here's the new single. Seems like a lot of folks over on the PJ forum aren't too happy with it. They're saying the production is too slick, there's too much piano, too many vocal/guitar overdubs, too mainstream-ish, not edgy enough, etc...

Personally I wasn't sure if I liked it on first listen either, but now that I've spun it a few times I'm really diggin' it. Eddie's vocals sound great, and I love McCready's guitar solo. It's Pearl Jam's "Depression Suite".

I like it better than "Mind Your Manners" but it is still kind of a boring song.
There's a bunch of other leaked tracks out there as well and.... pretty big "meh" from me overall. I guess they all sound better than anything on Backspacer though so maybe there's hope.

Loving the sound of that 12 string acoustic.
