Traveling from Ottawa to Peterborough today, pretty cool find.

The one I liked Was Fiddler's Green rd in Ancaster. It's an exit off the 403. I didnt' take a picture because I'm slow like that.

Yeah, I know it well. Always wonder who is thinking the same thing.

There's a town near Ottawa on the way from there to Montreal called Elmo's Corners. It reminds me of Cemetery Sideroad when I pass it. The corner where the sign is, is the cemetery. As far as I recall, the little side street off of the main road is the only road in the town, very small population. As I drive by it I'm always thinking "hey, there's that cemetery sideroad."

I can't seem to find it on Google maps. Almost like it doesn't exist.

Yeah, I noticed that a few weeks ago myself. I hadn't driven on Highway 7 in a million years, and had forgotten all about it.

I thought I would reply to this one, because I actually spent some time thinking about it once or twice.

Driving from Kingston into Ottawa (before the 416), there were two roads that you could either use, or would drive right by. Cemetery Sideroad, and/or Hazeldean. Depending on where you were going in Ottawa, you would might take Hazeldean. One might also take Cemeteray Sideroad to avoid a traffic light on Highway 7.

As Dame notes it might just be any road that turns off a main road into a cemetery. Perhaps Purdy Mills Road might been seen as the side road for the Cataraqui Cemetery?
