Saw a show here last night (James McMurtry and the HB's):

Great concept (it appears that Michael Nesmith of the Monkees is the mastermind behind this)...browser opens and teleports one into a virtual world. Once in proceeded to the amphitheater. Sound and video were outstanding. Band can see all the avatars in front of them. James hung out after and signed merchandise which was for sale.

There is a drive in movie area as well. Took in a cheesy B 1940's movie as well to wind down from the show. lol...[attachment=156][attachment=155][attachment=154]

A Hip show in this format would be very cool. Hope this gets passed along for future consideration.
That's neat! :thumb: That would have been a nice format for the "Live From the Bathhouse" show last year. Did you have to pay to log on?
Hey Sarah,

No it was all free of charge. Although if it would keep progressing and developing I would think there would be a fee to cover some costs. It really is a neat concept.

Again most impressive was the sound and video quality.

It is Sherlock Holmes night at the drive in. Might pop back in there and catch another cheesy movie.

Can you upload a picture of yourself instead of an avatar? I think it would be cooler to look to my side and see Sean Bonner at a virtual Hip concert, rather than his Harry Potter avatar...
lol...not that I have discovered but still learning the ins and outs of this virtual world. I did see a few aliens at the show so who knows...
