is it the "forty gallons in a steady stream"?
is it the masterbation references?
is it the jet sound at the end?
is it the melodic simplicity?

(personally, i think it's a hoot! let's hear it live sometime in the future!) (don't hate me)
I don't hate it and heard it live 6/11/96 Rochester, New York
I'm in the "Coconut Cream" fan club.... always have dug that tune... cool guitar riff, great drums, blue angels at the end..what more could you ask for. :thumb:

Agreed...
Because it's an empty throwaway song.
It's better than In View...
Tough choice, but I'd say nope.
Total throwaway song. The lyrics are a weak example of Gord's poetry skills. And yet, it's an under appreciated fun little diddy!
I don't understand the concept of labelling something a "throwaway"... certainly some songs are not meant to be mainstream successes, but what's a "throwaway" anyways?
Because it makes all the other songs on henhouse seem really tame and wussy...

Best song on the album, one of the best rockers they've ever blessed us with, masturbation references, i mean, what more could you ask for? A longer solo would've been good i guess, but other than that, I'd say this is one of their unplucked gems, not a throwaway at all, definately a keeper.
It reminds me a bit of myself - like a lighthearted perverse cartoon.
I think its a fine little ditty ... only complaint might be lyrically. Never been a big fan of songs that repeat verses. In this case the first and last verse act as sort of "book ends", but still I think it’s relatively weak on the wordsmithing.
LOVE HENHOUSE

there are no bad songs on that cd. period.

and the band needs to play butts wigglin more :jump
On an album otherwise littered with beautiful poetry, Coconut Cream is sorely disappointing. Two lines that rhyme. Then repeat the rhyming words. Repeat.

It's the only constantly skipped song on that album for me, though.

Henhouse was the first CD I ever bought (a little late on the digital bandwagon) and it remains a personal favourite.
A throwaway song would be one you scribble on the back of a napkin, drunk, as a joke that turned out not to be that funny once you were sober.
