Hands down one of the best live bands you'll ever see. I'll be at the Calgary show for sure. It's been 3 years since I've seen these guys, and I'm really looking forward to this.
When they opened for Neil last year in Halifax it blew my mind. I was already a fan, but wow, it was good.
So excited to see them coming back. YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS! :thumb:

I caught them when they opened for Neil in Toronto last December, but Jeff Tweedy was fighting a bad flu, he looked like shit and you could tell he wasn't up to snuff. Still a good performance but it didn't blow me away, thought I'd give them another chance. Hope it's better than when I gave the Constantines live show another chance, lol. I'm hoping for a guest appearance by Feist this evening.

Blasphemy! I freakin' LOVE the Constantines. I've seen them live three times, and they've kicked my ass every single time. Oh well. Different strokes for different folks.

Saw them twice, and although I love their albums, both shows were just drunken noise. It actually hurt my ears. :what
as far as live acts I have seen:
#1 remain the Hip....close #2 place is Wilco.
Glenn Kotch on the drums was fantastic; he was a maniac. I don't remember what song it was, but he would just wail on them: just go from such great intensity, to slowing it down, then back up again. Really great song.
... when i type that... sounded... ahh... little sexual...like...the other night... ahh....

Via Chicago?
There's a chance. You were at this one weren't you?
The high in crowd made a lot of the songs flow into one, and I just remember that part standing out amongst others. It was towards the end of their set I believe.
From Wilco if anyone wants to go tonight...
Wilco: We've just released approximately 70 great tickets for tonight's show at Massey Hall in Toronto. Available now at the Box Office.

Its on Summerteeth. You should get that album.
I have it on From The Beginning. Which is a US Promo album?, I think.
Will be at the free Vancouver show. Should be disastrous though, tying it in with the Olympics. Oh well, can't complain.
