Evening, stalkers.

For those of you who sit up late and night and wonder what Gord Downie's up to on any particular night, I've got some good news for you: I can tell you where he was today, September 22! Gord was at the Hold Steady show in Calgary; I pretty much literally ran into him outside the venue's back door before going in, and since I was sort of flabbergasted to, y'know, run into Gord Downie, I simply congratulated him on yesterday's show, thanked him for "Thugs" and carried on my way.

THS were great, btw. Can't wait for Calgary #2 tomorrow!

Steve

I'm pissed I couldn't make the show last night and not because Gord was there, though it would have been cool to see him there.

Interesting...I was at the Hold Steady last night and didn't see Gord anywhere. Bummer. The show was fantastic though! What a great band. My ears are still ringing.

My ears may never recover from last night. THS are definitely better seen in a bar than, say, Grant Park (which is where I last saw them). Craig Finn is just so damn endearing!
