Hey folks, sorry if this has been discussed, I've been off in outter space and away from a computer most of the summer.
I just bought tickets to see the boys at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. I hear Jim Bryson may be backing them up. Is that all, or is a fuller ensemble possible, given the orchestral setting?
Anything is possible.
They have been playing about 90% of theatres/orchestra settings.
But, Jim Bryson has been pretty much the only one backing them up.

Yes, Jim Bryson has been playing with them all summer on keys and background vocals. His playing sounds fantastic on the newer material, and he also adds some great Chris Brown-style flourishes to older songs like Gift Shop and Bobcaygeon. The guys are playing some of the most inspired shows I've ever seen them play. The new songs are absolutely brilliant live. "Frozen in My Tracks" will knock you on your ass. Have fun at the NAC!

The National Arts Center sounds like a great venue for the Depression Suite. The show in St. John's was definitely one of the best performances i've ever seen. The show was in July and my ass still hurts from hearing Frozen in my Tracks. Enjoy the show. It will be great.

But there has been quite the panic over here at the Hipbase regarding your website: hipmuseum.com (the museum after dark).
