I'm close to securing an interview with one of the guys (not sure who yet). It'll be an email interview, but if I'm lucky I might get a face-to-face follow up when they play London too (as well as a press pass)!

I just thought it might be nice to ask a couple of questions from the 'base... so if you've got anything to ask, fire away!

1. Why if we were made to pay for bonus tracks, why do they never play them live?

2. With so many covers, um, covered last tour, why did they never cover any Downie or Baker solo?

3. Why for the first time in 20 years were the song writing credits on the album not contributed strictly to The Tragically Hip (lyrics were by Downie)
When can we expect a new album? Will it be two, three years?

That would be your first question? Mmm....made to pay?
I don't have any questions. Just two statements.
1) Look into the playing The Imperial in SJ, NB.
2) You guys kick ass.
In typical Chris Farley fashion...

Do you remember when you guys played Saturday Night Live?....That was awesome.

I'd also be tempted to ask why the St. Louis date they said would happen never did...but that would be more like griping and you've got a pretty awesome opportunity there. So maybe leave the griping behind.
About the family emergency which prevented this year's Halifax show, is everything alright??
How is the band dealing with the family life?...How do you cope with the pressures of performing while maintaining a family?
Has the Tragically Hip ever considered producing its own album, allowing them to do exactly what they want...without any unnecessary pressure?
Will you watch the Canadian men's hockey team play in Vancouver next winter?

Trouble At The Henhouse. (Produced by The Tragically Hip and Mark Vreeken )
just tell em THANKS, they are a bigger part of peoples life's than they realize.

Thanks fellas.
1) Could you please play 'inevitability of death' in Ottawa on the 28th?
2) Should I buy a chrysler?
3) Paper or plastic?
4) No, seriously...could you PLEASE play 'inevitability of death' on the 28th?
5) Bret Hart: the best there is, the best there was or the best there ever will be?
6) Is it *right* to buy a chrysler?
7) Does Dan Akroyd really think he is Elwood Blues?
8 ) How do you solve a problem like 'Maria'?
9) Also, could you please play 'something on' in Ottawa on the 28th?
10) When Paul signed the *back* of my Leafs shirt 'the Hip are behind ya' all those years ago...did he do that on purpose or does he sign everything like that? (Because that turned an impressionable 13-year old into a lifetime fan, so he should do it more often.)
When was the last time any members of the band were in contact with former Hipster Davis Manning?

Would they ever consider playing a live show with him as a guest for a couple songs?
where do you find your inspiration from
1. You've played shows with the Who, The Stones...etc... Are there any bands that you would love to share a bill with but haven't yet?

2. How about a B-sides cd?

3. Do any of the band members have kids that are aspiring musicians yet? And if so, do they look to the Hip for guidance?

4. (to anyone but Gord D) Is there a point in a live show where Downie does something so funny that you almost start laughing out loud? I haven't seen anything more than a small smile from the guys when gord D is doing his thing...

5. There are songs that many hardcore fans would love to see rotated into the set now and then that seem to be "retired", are there any songs that simply will never be played again and why not? part 2 of this question: or are there certain songs that are vetoed by one band member etc? A little insight because many of us serious Hipfans really like many of the "album cuts" that don't get stagetime :thumb:
About time Paul does lead vocal on a track from the next album
