Happy Country Day, a day late.

I spent my day cleaning up a lawn full of goose poop at the cottage. I then had to be thrown out of bed by my wife this morning, because my body was convinced it was still the weekend. I hope everyone else had a nice Wednesday.

I actually ended up in Canada for Canada Day.
I was at a park and was actually suprised at all of the country pride being displayed. Flags being carried, on strollers, wheel chairs. Canada shirts and umbrellas. And flags painted on tons of peoples faces. Much love for their country.

We're kinda weird that way, especially when you consider the fact that most people are not originally form this land.

If we were ever to take over the US it would have to be initiated and completed on Canada Day when all our pent up Nationalistic apathy comes pouring out.

Been there done that ... in August of 1814. Although one could technically argue it was an act of British imperialism.
