AHHH 5 MORE DAYS AHHHHHHH. I've been counting down for this for two months. Having only seen the Hip at the State/Fillmore Theater in Detroit, I am beyond excited to finally see them in Canada with 11,000 fans! I know it'll be worth the drive from Detroit.

This is going to be awesome... I love seeing them in my home town... gonna be a great show, I hope the weather is OK that night! I'm going with 9 friends... should be a blast!

I believe this is my third time driving from Detroit to London to see a Hip related show. I went to London once to see Robbie play with The Stripper's Union. This will be my second time seeing The Hip there. The Hip have always played great shows in that city. The Hip fans from the London area are pretty hardcore too. I have seen many shows in Ontario, and some cities are better than others. The London fans know how to have fun at a Hip concert.

Aparently 6 weeks isn't long enough to process a passport (even though my brother got his a week ago and we applied on the same day) so it looks like I'm going to Canada without a passport. Can't be too bad right? I'll just bring pretty much every form of ID I have and hope for the best coming back into the States.
Not missing this show though... god I hope it doesn't rain.

I would not worry too much about it.
This article this week from The Buffalo News had this little tidbit:
"Tourism officials say the decline (in border crossing) is being fueled by misinformation and fear of the unknown.
They want visitors to know the truth about the actual consequences of not having the proper ID: a simple written warning."

maaannn, that sounds like a magnetic hill concert. Nothing but mud and an obscene amount of pples rolling around in it. Hope you all have a good one though!
