Of course they should! And they will. But don't count on any new material until 2011 at the very least. In the meantime I'm hoping for a possible live DVD/album to document this amazing tour they're currently on. These shows have been goddamn epic.

Gord Downie is reportedly recording a solo album with Chris Walla from Death Cab For Cutie in august. I would imagine that's the next release to be looking forward to.

Is that Death Cab thing just a rumor or what because if it's true my fiancee is going to pass out from excitement.

Wow! I hadn't heard that about Gord/Walla.
I love the last Tegan and Sarah album...that really makes me curious as to what he'd do with Gord's music. I just hope it lives up to the last 2 solo records, which to me are absolute masterpieces.

Needless to say, I'm super pumped to for the Gord/Sadies record. My favourite vocalist/writer and my favourite band! Holy smokes.

I heard from a pretty "Good" source that the Gord and The Sadies album will be out late fall/early spring next year. The album is done and mixed I believe so people are officially talking about it! I can't wait for this it is going to be INCREDIBLE!!
