saw these guys(and girl) last night in saskatoon and they sounded so damn good...they blew me away... the bass player made it onto my list of 5 last night, i am soooo sweet on her  .....hope they are around for awhile
Same. The Winnipeg show was awesome.
I have nothing good to say about Cage the Elephant. Manchester Orchestra was pretty good.
As for Silversun, wow. I'm not sure what I was expecting, garage jam rock I guess. But oh my *%#$@ that guy can play guitar. The songs are epic and overflowing and meld into eachother beautifully. Panic Switch played live was some of the most awesome 6-7 minutes I've witnessed in a concert in recent memory. I wasn't much of a fan before, but I am now, that's for sure.
Also, nothing hotter than a woman playing bass. I just wish she would PLAY IT. Goddammit, what's with bassists using picks these days. It just screams laziness.
Swoon has been my summer CD. I'm glad they sound good live because I was worried they might not be able to pull it off outside the studio. Does the singer (Brian?) sing with an auto tuner?
