CHECK IT OUT!

There have been programs out like this for a while now. I forget the name of one but how it worked was you called out using a phone keypad gui on your computer and the person you called answer their phone and talked as if it were an ordinary phonecall. Worked great.

I see this program a requirement is a dialup connection but doesn't say anything about a cable or dsl connection. Wonder if that's why it needs the phoneline to your computer?

High

This program has come a long way since last October. Has anyone downloaded it, and had success using it?

I tried it out a few months back and it worked great. Sound quality was kind of tinny, but no complains given it is free. A guy in our office uses it exclusively to talk to his girlfriend who lives in Hong Kong. Kind of tough to beat the monthly phone bill of $0.
