Someone mentioned that there is to be no tailgating - true? So, if I am hanging out in the parking lot drinking some Beam with my wife and friends, the cops/security will swing by and say "we'll have none of that here...put it away and move along"? I guess nobody can smoke a bowl in the parking lot either...
Anyone going up early Thursday or Friday? I'm curious if any of you guys get together before the shows to tailgate or have a few at a bar...

You can park on someones lawn(some locals allow this and charge you), then you can tailgate all you want. I did this last time the HIP went to Artpark. Had a great time.

Historically all cameras are fine as long as they don't look pro, or have a large zoom lens. The old rule of thumb was as long as it's smaller than your head you should be fine.
thanks for the info chris , I am going to try and get my 300mm lens in with it. I'm sitting in row s, so with out it I don't think it would get any good closeups ....

My buddy got a warning last night because he has a professional camera and he put it away...but then of course he took it out again and this time ROBOCOP bouncer escorted him out and took his battery until the end of the show...be careful or you might end up on Artparks most wanted list :lol:
It's funny how this band allows their fans to do so much like record audio/video and use P+S cameras with ease and yet "fans" still disrespect their wishes and bring in and try to use DSLR's. It's the only thing they ask and people can't accept it? FUCK!! Some bands don't want you to use your cell for pictures at shows.
