I was always going to ask (but somehow never did) Paul and / or Gord S. if they ever played golf with Alex, seeing as they all play a lot and are pretty decent. Now I know.

I'm not a huge fan of Rush, but I consider Lifeson to be one of the more underrated guitarists in rock. All three members of Rush are top of the line musicians. I was actually a little disappointed in Lifeson's solo when listening to the video, but I thought it was awesome that he joined the boys on stage. It's never a bad thing for a legend to join The Hip on stage.

It sounds a lot better on the recording than it does on my video. Being up front I didn't get much of the sound from the PA, just the stage.

You can definitely hear the solo on the recording and it sounds really good.
