is it just me.. or has Country Day not been played in 8 shows in a row?

I know it was played early in the tour, was it rough or something?
Hmmm thats interesting. I took a video of it at the 3rd Kitchener show. I just watched it too. Its pretty good, I cant seem to find anything wrong with it. It was very good live, Mabey they are going to turn it into a gem by hardly playing it.
Here's hoping they bury it along with the rest of WATS. Actually, it's not the worst song on WATS and I think it might be way better live than on the album.

So Im thinking your not a fan of the new album? Tell us how its not as good or as better than any other album. What is it lacking for you?

I think his distaste is well-chronicled in numerous other threads.

Would have been nice to see Country Day last night -- for me, it could have replaced The Exact Feeling, which was well-performed, but still meh. Also, break out the Queen, I say to my toasted western. Why on earth are they letting that one gather dust.

i know Queen and CD were two of my favourites from WATS but haven't really been played that much.

i thought Country Day would be a great closer to set 1. I was at Montreal 1, CD would have been a way better closer to set 1 than Struggle, which kinda destroyed any momentum the show had.
I saw country day in Kitchener. It was actually really cool.

If you think how long and how many songs they are playing this tour, they need to hold back on some songs dont you think? Maybe Struggle will become less popular (only song I cannot grow to like) and Country or Furrows will take its spot later in the tour?

As it was mentioned earlier, my thoughts on this album have been written in the WATS thread, but generally I feel the songwriting is mediocre at times, and along with the musical direction and production makes for a pretty weak album imho. I think Country Day really suffers from the latter two; it's certainly not the worst song on the album but the musical approach to the song leaves something to be desired. Hopefully it will come across better live.
It seems that Country Day is the WATS equivalent of Heart Of The Melt or Leave.

Unfortunately Country Day is miles ahead of Melt or Leave.
It sounded great tonight at Massey :thumb:
