Anyone know anything about the Philly venue?

Somebody from closer to Philly can surely elaborate more fully completely, but I've been there, the last time was when the Hip played there last - on the IBE tour maybe? Or was it IVL? Anyway, it's an old theater and as I recall the seats are removed so everyone's on their feet. Not sure of the capacity but it's not big, everyone will get a good view of the boys. There's a balcony as well right? Maybe there are seats up there - I forget. And they serve alcohol from a bar that's attached. The TLA is on South St, which is more than an address, it's the center of a cultural oasis in the city. Lots of bars, artsy & offbeat shops, pizza/hoagie joints, live music, street vendors - a little Bourbon Streetish in a smaller, less hedonistic way, and terminally Philly. In short, it's a cool area & the freaks are always out.
Good to see you'll be there B & F. I think we've been to alot of the same shows in PA over the years. Chris

Thats it. Great Beers, good Bar Food, reasonably priced, right around the corner from the venue. I'll be stopping there :thumb: The Venue is an old theater, seats removed. There are 2 bar areas, one to the left of the stage, and one in the balcony. There are limited balcony/ bar stool seats available on a 1st come basis.
I just read this on the site....I'm going to give this a shot as parking sucks down there.

I have to wonder how many people will show for this venue. Do they have a following in that area? Or will it be ppl like us who travel the distance?
I've been in the philly area for 11years now. The crowd is always good, a mix of people who travel and locals. I've turned on friends who now goto every show also :music
