I program a 3 hour radioshow on <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.radiojohnson.net">http://www.radiojohnson.net</a><!-- m --> from 2-5PM EST every Monday called Soulgazers and Hellraisers. The show is a mix of stuff from Rheostatics to The Hip and from Tom Waits to Marillion with the likes of Gomez, Elbow, Wilco, Kate Bush, Rickie Lee Jones, Sloan, Teenage Fanclub, Genesis, Porcupine Tree, Dada, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, FIshbone, Supergrasss etc along the way.
For next Monday's show I was going to select my favorite song from each Hip album to play but I thought maybe it would be fun to see what everyone else thought and play them instead. So....
From today through Sunday at 6PM EST list your favorite song from each studio album. I'll tally and program the winning selections in succession on the Monday show in celebration of the Massey Hall shows of which I'm attending 4 of the 6.

Right now I'm planning on tracks by The Rheostatics, Sam Roberts, Hayden, Chris Brown and Kate Fenner, By Divine Right, Sarah Harmer, The Weakerthans and The Odds. Any tracks/other bands I should consider?

The Constantines, because they are the 2nd best band in Canada.
