The standard questions were asked. How do you guys get along? Has it been hard to stay friendly over 20 years? Who does the writing & how do you approach writing? You guys did covers songs in the second half of the WC tour are you considering making a cover album? the answer was NO there are still plenty of songs to write & stories to be told.
I was very disappointed with the Q&A I've been listening to the Up To Here & Road Apples premieres with John Derringer (Q107 Toronto) and every question not relating to WATS was asked way back in 89 & 91 with the answers remaining the same. Hell the wording of the guys answers have not even changed in 20 years. It's like they are robots and fire out the same response to questions they have been asked for 20 years.
I thought my question was a great one yet was never picked.
On the IBE tour Gord spoke immensely about where Stephen Harper would take us if elected PM and none of his comments were positive at all. Now that Mr. Harper has been the leader of our country for a few years I would like to hear what Gord and the guys think now that what they warned us of has happened?
Forgive me I forgot to say, that when a band does a Q&A I don't want to hear BS questions that everyone would ask, has asked & will continue to ask. I want to hear intelligent questions, not relating to the band it's self. We never hear their opinions & thoughts on issues ever as we are not in their circle of friends. so lets ask questions like we are & get a good conversation going, not just the standard..

I hear what you're saying, and I agree, to a certain extent. It would be nice to see some NEW questions asked of the band. However, I actually don't want to hear Gord's opinion on politics. I wouldn't mind hearing some new music related questions in these Q & A sessions, though.
