I'm really in love with the first album right now. Especially Killing Time and I'm a Werewolf, Baby.
I've got 4 Hip shows coming up in June. Would it be foolish of me to hope to see ANY song off the first record?
My question is: When was the last time any song form that record was played live? A rundown of when each one last appeared in a setlist would be the best.

... short answer, it's very unlikely that we'll hear songs from the ep on this tour. is it foolish to hope??? i hope for silly things at hip shows all the time... sometimes they happen!
Hipbase used to have an excellent song history archive, but for some odd reason it was removed.
TheHip.com has one now, that I do not care for enough - but here is a link to Small Town..for an example.

I hear they don't play them often because the first album was kind of a flop for them.
I've been waiting for someone to bring up this topic. I as well would love to hear "Last American Exit & Small Town Bring down" quiet frankly that's all I want to hear. I would love a set where WATS is played in it's entirety with an encore of Small Town Bring Down, Last American Exit & Hyway Girl, not going to happen yet I still hold out hope!!!
When asked how the set list's are put together Gord said that Mr. Sinclair does all the set list's and has a system in place where eventually all songs will be played before their run in the sun is over. With that said, I wonder how efficient his system is. Every song has been played since 1991 except for the top 3 from the EP those were last played in 1990 or before..
I am now left thinking that there is a larger reason as to why they have not been played, as it seems they have been INTENTIONALLY left in the 80's!!!
