I'm just wondering if, after watching Gord's interview with Josie, did anyone go and check out the SNL video Gord references to Josie?
I did and I have two things to say about it.
1. The hand gesture Gord makes is adorable now that I know why he did it.
2. Gord's face after he realizes that he sings "he said I'm Tragically Hip!" instead of "he said I'm fabulously rich" is just hysterical. Kinda like an "oh shit. what did I just sing on national television?! those aren't the lyrics!!!" face.

2 more reasons why I love Gord Downie even more now. And it's a double plus that they play the song so well under all of that pressure and nervousness!

I dunno 'bout you guys, but I <3 HIP.

Haha, I did actually. You're right, for that split second when he messes the line you can see his face cringe somewhat....kinda hilarious, haha.

yeah that's exactly what I'm talking about! hahahaha I started laughing as soon as I saw it. He pulled it off very well that it was just part of those expressions he makes when he sings. Kinda like a way of saying "I am lost in my music. and I am LUUUUUVIN' IT."

Yes I checked it out! I was stoked just to see that interview, then I thought what a cool story! I loved that version of Grace already, now it's even better.

Until the interview I couldnt tell why he made that face, I kinda figured it was an accident and now we know.
