So my girlfriend and I are planning a U.S. road trip in August, and we noticed that the Kings of Leon are playing in portland August 17.

On the KoL website, it says, that tickets go on sale tomorrow (April 24). However, I can't find out exactly WHERE the tickets are being sold. Ticketmaster shows just about every date on the tour, but not Portland!

Can anyone help???
It looks like they are on ticketsnow "A ticketmaster company" but not on ticketmaster.

Isn't ticketsnow the company that just resells ticketmaster tickets but at a higher price?

I guess i'll see tomorrow when they go on sale.
There's nothing listed on Live Nation or Ticketmaster.
Good luck finding tickets. Great band!
I saw the Toronto show this week. Highly recommend getting tickets. Great show.

Thanks for the help. I'll do some more digging and see what i come up with. I hope i don't have to end up buying scalped tickets!

I have been wanting to see KoL for years. I must go. Big Grin
The ACC was sold out. I was pretty suprised by that. Lost of younger folks
Wow.

So i finally found out where to buy tickets. It's on the venue's website.

I guess it's good to see one less event in the clutches of ticketmaster, but i guess now i can see why they have a monopoly on the biz. Because everone else is so hard to get to. And because they are the default. When events are announced, they don't even need to say to look on ticketmaster for tickets- you just know.
