well done!
Maybe the hip will play Kingston Pen sometime?
i don't have any of my other album liner notes with me, but i don't ever remember seeing this... "music by The Tragically Hip, lyrics by Gord Downie."

... i may be wrong but hasn't it always been, "all songs written by The Tragically Hip"???
I normally dont get too jazzed up over album art, unless something really grabs me. But I think this is one of their best looking albums inside and out. I really like the water and tree shots very serene and peaceful. Plus the band sitting around the kitchen table with some beers, almost makes you wish you could be sitting there having a beer with the boys. Gotta love the look on Johnny Fay's face on the back cover..lol.

As for cover art I still like IVL best though.
They thanked a golf course, the Loyalist Golf and Country Club to be exact.
It's a good track.

Yeah I agree, the album art is fantastic. I appreciate when a band puts some effort into the choosing of the art for an album. Its one of the reasons I still buy CD's.

That also struck me as I was wondering the same thing myself...
I'm too old to read it without a magnifying glass

If I'm not mistaken, it's right next door to the Bathouse.

You're not mistaken - it's in Bath.

I noticed that as well. I think it is the first cd with the lyrics and music separate. Makes me think of past interviews (TATH) I think, where they described the songwriting process as them sitting around a room, talking about past experiences and such, and expressions, quotes or what have you end up as lyrics. Guess that has kind of changed.

As for the back photo. I think it's Stella in Paul and Bobby's hands?

Great shot.
