Actually, he sounded good..I'm not a huge fan of the keys being added to the old stuff, but it totally worked on the new stuff...should keep things interesting for the tour!

I see your Rivers Cuomo, and raise you a Johnny Galecki!

If they dress Gord up as Sheldon I will be a happy man indeed!
I think someone on here compared it to when Pearl Jam got Boon into the band. It really fills any empty space and compliments the sound so much. Obviously most songs on the last two albums had some keys and extra instrumentation but I think a great deal of care will be taken to make sure whatever he plays fits in and only compliments the song.

I thought his parts on Escape were awesome and totally appropriate. I was thinking we (who are in favor of the keys/vocal/utilty guy) could get a list going of older tunes that would really benefit from this additon...ie.... Cordelia, IAGLIYHTW, Gift Shop, In View (of course), Flamenco, Tiger the Lion....etc...

I like the idea of the keys or extra guitar. I like it a lot. I don't know if I like the idea of him singing, though. That may sound kinda strange but I think they already have the vocals covered.
Count me amongst those who think adding Bryson (keys) is a fantastic move for an Evening w/ tour.

I've seen Jim on his own, with The Weakerthans and Kathleen Edwards -- great musician, and I think he will be a good addtion in a live theatre setting.
