Um, unless he was being serious... I'm not sure if he was.
Anyway, I work at a group home for at-risk youth. I have teenagers who will pee in their beds, the hallways, the garbage can, etc. It's no treat and it's not very funny!
It wouldn't surprise me if Gord was in the business of helping kids.

Wow, this was an awesome interview (though her comment about having a pic with him in her bathroom was a little weird). It was very revealing, and I liked how Gord compared being on stage to being in front of a jet.
Thanks for posting!

I do not know when part 2 will be up but the entire interview was recorded to be broadcast this coming Tuesday on http://www.edge.ca/
And it is pretty cool. This is their Hip Weekend and they are playing double shots all weekend long - one old one and one from WATS - nice to crank them on the radio.

Love to hear that he does not want that feeling of being on stage to stop :thumb:

Josie is definitely a fan - she mentions The Hip regularly on air.
This is one of the first times I've heard her interview someone where I didn't want to change the station.

Cool! Thanks for posting these. I needed something to take my mind off the big black hole of SUCK that is the Calgary Flames tonight (currently trailing Minnesota 3-0 after 1 period).

Wow, what an interesting story behind the "he said I'm tragically hip" line from SNL, and the 11 signal. It was talked about in a previous thread that he looked high on something during that performance, and someone said he just looked extremely nervous, that was totally the case. I didn't realize it was to that extent though. Cool interview.
