I think Westbrook will have a huge comeback season and McNabb will continue to play well now that he has a couple receivers again. The D will be a big question. The core is still there but the emotional leader is gone.

T.O. will be crying once again this year, probably sometime in early February, tears of joy, after the Bills win their first Super Bowl......hay-oooooo!

Seriously though, I like the move but they need a lot more than one big name to make the playoffs, especially being in the AFC East. Hopefully they will have a decent draft.

48 million over 6 years and the kid is crying poor? this kind of stuff makes me sick sometimes, doesnt anyone play for the love of the game anymore? He's already got the starting job in Denver a team that I despise, but they have a good history and a strong orginization, plus 48 million bucks, what more does he need? I hope he gets traded to one of the worst teams in the league and never sees the playoffs again.

I'm on Cutler's side on this one. Yes, I know that he's a whiner and kind of a baby, but whatever. Mcdaniels thinks he's a genius so let's see if he can make Chris Simms into a Pro Bowl QB. :what The fact of the matter is that Cutler WAS THE TEAM last year. The defence was non-existant and they went through about twenty running backs. Cutler played at a Pro Bowl level last season and I think it's disgusting that so many supposedly respectable NFL writers are bashing him and writing about him as if he was the reason why Denver missed the playoffs last season.

As a fellow Bills fan, I'll just say not to get your hopes up about the draft. The Bills drafting has been pretty poor the last little while. A couple of years ago, they passed on Ngata and went for Whitner, which was a move that was just plain moronic. Let's not forget MOVING UP to get Mccargo and JP Los(S)man. :oops:

I like the TO deal. I don't even like TO, to be honest, but I like that the Bills actually did SOMETHING. TO is not a saviour, the Bills still need to get a respectable QB (Cutler would be ideal), and the Bills have a mediocore defense (they lost their best 2008 CB to free agency this offseason, foolishly put their best LB on IR for the year last season and will probably not be able to sign him this offseason, and we all know that even with Schobel the Bills have practically no pass rush). Having said that, TO is still a top 15 WR and after a year they can tell him to hit the road. If nothing else, Evans should be open a bit more. Problem is, Edwards sucked last season and until he proves otherwise, I don't believe in him. Should be an interesting season. Of course, Dick Jauron will be guaranteed to lose at least three or four games just because of his incompetence.

In the 1st round, the Bills should draft Everette Brown if he's available. He'll likely go before they pick, so they should take Maybin if he's still available.

--TO will make a difference, but likely won't make nearly as much of a difference as a lot of Bills fans believe. The Bills will still probably miss the playoffs.
--Mcdaniels wanted to trade him for Cassell. I don't really blame Cutler for being angry. I hate Denver, too, but Cutler is a very good QB.

--Don't think they'll be the #1 favourite, but they'll be one of the top 3 or 4 favourites I would imagine

3 or 4 at least, I agree. Losing Greer is going to be felt more than Bills fans realize. Now that Crowell signed with Tampa, we need a LB to go with that much needed D-Lineman to help the pass rush. Losing Marshawn for at least two games to suspension will hurt as well. I like Fred Jackson to fill the void though.

I am iffy on Edwards but am very optimistic still despite some struggles last year. Hope he can stay healthy and please both Evans and TO. I am not so worried about the offense but our D needs a big upgrade. I like Brown too. If they pick offense with the first pick I am going to regret renewing my season tix!

I think a lot of Bills fans just assumed that Mcgee was their best CB last season, but based on what I saw, Greer was superior. Hopefully Mckelvin can improve and turn into a quality starting CB this season, although that's doubtful.

Maybin is a pass rusher who has been compared to Freeney as far as his quick first step and speed goes. He is more of a LB than a DE and he could fill a void for the Bills, no question. He's a little raw, but I think he can still make an impact in his first year, and the Bills have literally no pass rush as it is. I can't believe the Bills signed Schobel and Kelsay to such ridiculous contracts. Kelsay wouldn't even start on a lot of teams.

I don't think Edwards is durable enough to play 16 games in a season, and I think he has a LOOOOOOONG way to go to prove that he's a legit QB in the NFL. Last season, I think he only played about three or four good games all season. The Jaguars turned out to be much worse than people though, and if not for Edwards playking like crap against the Raiders for three quarters, he wouldn't have needed the 4th quarter comeback. Edwards' game against the Browns was one of the worst games I've ever seen any QB play...EVER! As far as pleasing TO, that's pretty much an impossibility.

Yes, the defence was pretty poor last season. They never could get off the field. I hate to say it, but Whitner is just an average player from what I've seen. Poz is a decent player but doesn't look to be a future star. He makes a lot of tackles five or ten yards down the field. I saw enough of that when London Fletcher was in Buffalo. :censored The Bills are without a good SOLB right now. IT would be nice if they could find somebody to fill that hole. Basically, my thoughts are that the game is won and lost at the line of scrimmage. With Kelsay as a starting DE, that's the sign of a pretty weak defensive line, IMO. If the Bills don't get a pass rush this season, they are toast, plain and simple.

You renewed your season tickets? I give you props, man. You are truly a dedicated fan. There's no way I would renew season tickets if I had them, once I heard that Jauron was going to be back. Let's hope the Bills can win in spite of Jauron this season.
