Traveling from Toronto to Kingston
Rolling down the good old 401
Seeing The Hip in their home town during the May 24 weekend... Priceless!!
I was planning on hitchhiking. You have room for one more?
Me and the wife will be partaking. Got 2nd row seats, damn I need to get fronts. I'm guessing it'll be most of the new songs with some "greatest hits" instead of the gems that have been popping up in the 3 night shows.

Could be my last show if they keep raising prices and sending me the CD 3 weeks late.

Some drinks before at Kirpatricks mabye (think that's the name).

The bar, not my house. My Mom would be quite surprised if a whole gang of Hip fans showed up looking for drinks...

(FYI: My last name is Kirkpatrick, and my Mom lives in Kingston...)
TO might be a bit out of the way for us on Saturday. We found the bar on Princess of that name I think, and had a few drinks before the last show and it had a good vibe, with the Hip playing non stop too.

Cheers
If anyone is taping, my household would love a tape of the whole show including the Trews, as we are all big fans of both The Trews and The Hip. Have fun everyone.
If someone hooks me up with three free, or at least cheap, tickets, I'll go. And tape.
I can do you one free ticket. Cant do anything about the other two your looking for, but hey is seeing the show & taping it for your friends not worth it when the cost is nothing!!

Filming is definitely worth giving away the ticket.
As for a bar to drink at prior to the show, what does anyone from Kingston think about the Copper/the sports pub @ the Queens Inn 125 Brock St. ?
I'm heading up solo & have not been to Kingston before so any idea's feel free to toss my way.

PS
I am told I am good company if anyone wants to throw an invitation my way (Pre or post show)

If you're reading this--doubtful, but you never know--I'd recommend either the Toucan, the Kingston Brew Co. or the Tiar An Og (or however it's spelt). And to everyone who's reading this who's going tonight, enjoy! I will eventually need to extricate myself from Southern Alberta and see the Hip in Kingston, if only to erase any lingering bad memories from Across the Causeway.
I'm sad there isn't a live setlist party tonight.
Now what am I going to do with my Saturday night? Sad

guess I should stop checking Sad
I'm having a hard time with the fact that I'm in Kingston, and not at the show!

I'm taking solace in a new lens....
