Speaking of solo albums, I remember reading an article a little while ago that mentioned he was recording an album with the Sadies. Anybody know if this project is still on the go?? It's been months since I've heard anything about it.

I just read an article this morning and the Sadies said they can actually start talking about the colaboration now that it is 2/3 done and not just a pipe dream.

Well now I gotta go and get BOTN and Listen to CMG too. Im not gonna open my copy so im gonna have to try to find it somewhere and borrow it.
In my opinion, Coke Machine Glow is the better of the two, but like people have said above, it sometimes depends on your mood. Almost every track on CMG has a very poetic and soothing feel....i usually only listen to it during reflective moments, like riding the GO train, before I go to bed, or when I am completely alone. There mostly all mellow and somewhat-downbeat songs.

Both great, but different works. But there are some real homeruns on CMG: Chancellor, Vancouver Divorce, Every Irellevance. Damn good sheet....
Thanks for this thread. Because of it I went back and finally listened to Battle of the Nudes. I think I'd listened to it maybe twice since it was released. I decided to give it a chance after reading this thread and love it. Now ... onto Coke Machine Glow (well, after I've heard WATS another 100 times).
