Hey does anyone know/suspect if The Hip will release another single to the radios or through their site before the album comes out? Morning Moon is not playing on the radios from what Ive heard.. Just trying to remember if "In View" was the only single out before the album was released.

So anxious for the album, and my 2 Kitchener shows, any rumours or info would be sick thanks
I remember that the Hip streamed all of WC before the album came out. Awesomeness but I wonder if they now consider that a bad move?
Morning Moon is NOT the first single from, We Are The Same
Love is a First is!

If I remember right, "World Container" streamed for about a week before the release. Does that sound right? I'm expecting that'll happen again with with the new album (since two songs are already out there), but that means we still have a few weeks to go till the stream starts. Just my hunch.
I'd be willing to bet that Honey, Please will be the second single. Probably out shortly after the album comes out.

I think one of the reasons they did this was to discourage fans from buying bootleg copies before the release date.. They know how antsy we all get, just to hear a new album. I think they wanted to give us a taste, and encourage us to buy the actual album

I think, the way they say it, if people are going to listen to the album for free then people are going to listen to the album for free. There's nothing they can do about it. It's going to happen. They may as well be the ones to provide it to them.
World Container was released in Canada first. It was streaming on TheHip.com for a couple of weeks before it was released in the states.

Buying bootleg copies? Who does that?

Sorry, I meant just getting their hands on bootleg copies. Although I suspect that you knew what, so dick move.
It's ridiculous that labels (or bands or whoever) really think that posting advance streams is going to stop people from downloading the albums. Who wants to be stuck on a website and dependent on an internet connection while listening to low-quality music? Not this guy! I guess it might work for the less tech-savvy people out there, but in this day and age that number is getting smaller and smaller.
