Man I hope the prices on ticketmaster are correct (the like $80) cause I'd hate to go over my credit limit and not be able to buy the tickets. I think I would tear my hair out.

P.s WOOOOO MASSEY HALL

10am local, the benefit for us, is that we get to see the EST, and CST pre-sale results.

I don't mean to ask so many questions, but what does that mean?

Actually doens't mean a whole lot, except- I like to see the tickets that go. Sometimes the best tickets aren't included with a presale.

guys.

This was the first thing that struck me as a former Saskatchewan resident. I hope they announce an outdoor summer gig for you guys.

Agreed. Their calendar has a whole lot of open space in July and August, so hopefully some outdoor gigs are planned. I think the 2007 show at the Bessborough Gardens went very well, so perhaps a return visit?

Am I correct in saying that other than London, every show announced so far is a soft seat venue?

See what I mean now?
In July they will probably hit: Vegas, Dallas, Austin, Atlanta, Myrtle Beach, DC, Baltimore and more
That Saskatchewan thing is perplexing, wonder if they're skipping it like they did 15 years ago because of the "incident".
So, are all the shows An Evening With? I see that The Trews are opening up the May 23 show in Kingston. I didn't see anything about this mentioned on The Hip's website. I could have missed it, though.

The Kingston show is a fundraiser so perhaps it's not "An Evening With..."?
That's disapointing. Kingston was the only one I bought, and it's not an Evening With... Also, noticed that the Kingston show disapeared from thehip.com. What gives?
I think it is a little messed up right now because the Artpark dates are a little screwed up June 2nd is missing Confusedcratch:
I heard locally, for Kingston, that you can buy a ticket package that contains aftershow passes.

As far as I've heard, the Kingston show is not an evening with, and neither is the London show. The London show is a typical Rock the Park setup - 4 bands (for the Hip the three openers are the Spades, Arkells, and Kathleen Edwards).
No Northern Ontario...BOOOOOOOOO! :nooooo
They may be back around.
They have left out some usual stops through the North east corridor including Albany, NJ, Long Island, Conneticut, Lancaster PA and Delaware to name a few.
But who knows they have, in past years, been threatening us with an Australian tour!!! Ya never know, Mav?
I was online at 10 to check out the available tickets for the NAC shows in Ottawa. The best I was able to get for any of the 3 shows was 18 rows back, therefore it seems that the presale tickets were quite better since I was able to score 4th row.
