Picked it up last night and I'm really enjoying it. It's less political and more personal. Less rock and more pop. It's the sound of Bruce and the band just rippin' it up in the studio and having a good time. The only real dud on the album is "Surprise Surprise", which is easily the worst song Springsteen has written in ages. It's cringe-inducingly bad. And parts of "Outlaw Pete" sound a little too much like "I Was Made for Loving You" by Kiss for my liking. But those are my only complaints. The rest of the album is excellent.

That was the first thing I thought about this song after one listen too!
I picked it up yesterday, I bought the special edition that cost 16.99. Comes with A DVD, and it came with an E Street Band greatest hits compilation.

Just got tickets for Springsteen's show in Hyde Park London (UK) in June. Support is from some little known US pop combo called Dave Matthews Band.
