I know that Grace Potter and the Nocturnals have been mentioned here before, but I caught their show for the first time last night, and it absolutely blew me away. Has anybody else been lucky enough to see this act?

Unreal.

Never heard of them before, but that clip you posted is excellent. I might have to pick up one of their albums.

They are a Burlington VT based and played around here for years...she has some serious pipes.
Been a fan for a while, saw her open for the Crowes in Toronto when they came through. Here latest album is amazing.
Picked up her latest album "This is Somewhere" the other day at HMV. Great album!

They are playing a fund raiser for Obama in my town next week.

toronto date on dec. 10 at the elmo.
^^^^ Sweet thanks for the info.
*sigh* Another band that never tours Canada (except for the obligatory Toronto date of course). The Nocturnals are a smaller, low-level touring band, so I guess it doesn't make sense financially for them to tour up here. It's probably a pain in the ass getting across the border as well. I just wish more American bands would pull a "Pearl Jam" every once in a while and tour the whole country.
Wow, I had never heard of her before. Kind of a Lucinda Williams / Eva Cassidy mix ...........nice to hear
caught the toronto show this past week and it was really good. she is quite easy on the eyes and can sing too.

here's the audio incase anyone else was there. <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.archive.org/details/gpn2008-12-10.mc930.sd702.flac16">http://www.archive.org/details/gpn2008- ... 702.flac16</a><!-- m -->
She's very, very good. The rest of the band aren't too shabby either!
I think I have a new favourite youtube video.
