I think I knew all his songs. My parents had all his albums.
Another note: John Ritter died yesterday of a heart attack. He was 54.
Both were great entertainers and will be missed.
High
Yeah I just heard. Sad

Very sad news.
When I saw the name John Ritter it didn't ring any bells but when I saw his picture, I definitely recognized the guy. The father in Problemchild 1 and 2... how could we forget?
How sad for him to die at such a young age.....
And as for Johnny Cash..he was a legend. Didn't his wife also pass away recently?
His wife had recently passed away too. I think she was keeping him going. He was depressed and did a cover of NIN's "Hurt" to convey his feelings, which was an excellent song.
You're right High, I downloaded it, nice tune
And yeah what happened with Johnny Cash and his wife, you tend to see that quite a lot with older couples, their partner dies and the person left behind loses all motivation to keep going... very sad

R.I.P Johnny Cash

I think you can credit his wife for keeping him alive as long as he was.
Very sad to see them both gone, they contributed so much.
RIP Cash

I think i read somewhere that Johnny had just been released from the hospital this week, didnt know he had gone back. It's kind of surprising, given the salaciousness of the media that they didnt have some sort of death watch over him.
I read on much more music today that he had been released from the hospital today. Even after the other stations where reporting he had died?

cratch:
I think the media was to concerned with the "beniffer" thing to be paying attention to Johnny.
It's sad that he is gone but I'm sure he and his wife are happy to be together again! If that's how it all works!
A legend passed away.

Johnny Cash is the fuckin man!
RIP
RIP Johnny! You will be missed.
My over 30 hockey team would listen to a Johnny Cash best of CD to get jacked up before a game. Burning Ring of Fire was our favorite.
