Thanks for being on top of things Chris! Couldn't agree more about "Country Day" - sounds like its gonna be a gem...if those 10 odd seconds are representative of the song as a whole.

Gotta say, Kinda bummed about the "next year some time" thing - but I guess they liked sitting on the album like they did after WC was done. I can hold out...and hope that a single comes out sooner than later.

Sucks to have to wait 'til the new year for the new album, but I'm sure it'll be well worth the wait.

I'm hoping they add this stuff (video docs) to the cd as a bonus DVD, the making of type of thing. But then who knows. It's cool that they are throwing this stuff up now anyway.

Another 14 track album would be pretty decent, and especially how he was saying that they 'think they really got something this time'.

After hearing the lyrics to "Country Day", it is easy to imagine Gord drawing on the feelings and experiences he's had on his daily bike rides around the back country roads surrounding Bath, Ontario, to come up with the words to this song. The music the band has come up with to go with the lyrics has a nice lazy "Sunday drive" feel to it.

I'm liking it! The melody is already stuck in my head. :thumb:
