Well can you believe it!!! 10 years ago today Phantom Power was released. I've been listening to it all weekend and it's still as great today as it was 10 years ago.

I was thinking about this over the weekend myself, remembering the first time I heard Poets, on the Mix 99.9 overnight before an English exams (tragic sidenote: Punch Andrews died in March -- who knew?)
My first and only midnight on sale downtown at HMV. I picked up Phantom Power and Hello Nasty. It was a fun ride home.

Bought it, and shortly after headed up to a family friend's cottage in Catchacoma. The annual trek into Bobcaygeon was extra special that summer.
I remember keeping track of how many times I listened to PP up there - hit 15 before the week was through. What a record.

The album that started it all for me. And totally biased, it's my favorite Hip album! Thanks WDST for introducing TTH to this American! 10 years, huh? Nice...
