The feature CSNY: Deja Vu, directed by Canadian singer/songwriter Neil Young, will be released in theaters, pay TV and the Internet on the same day.

Roadside Attractions, 40 percent-owned by Lions Gate Entertainment Corp, is in negotiations to release the $2 million budgeted film, July 25 in theaters, on TV video-on-demand services and via Netflix Inc's "Watch Instantly" Web streaming.

Here's a preview for an upcoming documentary on independent musicians in Toronto, out in the fall.

That "Born To It" doc that Northernwave posted looks amazing. Some of those clips on their really spoke to where my minds at.

I feel the same way, and I can't wait to see it. It's cool to see neglected artists like Ron Hawkins and Cuff the Duke finally get some attention. Sadly I doubt it'll get a theatrical release except maybe in Toronto. We may have to wait for DVD.

I know that some of the bigger AMC's, in the GTA at least, sometimes show documentaries just because they have too many theatres and not enough films. Hopefully they'll release it out my way.
